BroadwayHD will stream\u00a0Roundabout Theatre Company<\/a>\u2019s Broadway revival of Fallen Angels<\/a>\u00a0early next month.<\/p>\n

The play (which is\u00a0nominated for five Tonys, including Best Revival), stars Oscar nominee Rose Byrne<\/a> and Tony winner Kelli O’Hara<\/a>, both of whom are currently Tony-nominated for their performances. Fallen Angels will stream live for subscribers of BroadwayHD during the 7 PM performance June 5.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be working with Roundabout to bring this stellar production of No\u00ebl Coward<\/a>‘s comedy to BroadwayHD, so audiences around the world can watch it from the comfort of their homes ahead of this year\u2019s Tony Awards,\u201d Stewart F. Lane<\/a> and Bonnie Comley<\/a>, co-founders of BroadwayHD, said of the upcoming livestream. \u201cThe incredible cast are sure to make you laugh all night long!”<\/p>\n

Fallen\u00a0Angels\u00a0is one of two (so far) of this season’s plays that will broadcast live stage films.\u00a0Giant, currently playing a Broadway transfer at the Music Box Theatre, will broadcast a filmed performance from the production’s run in London’s West End this fall<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of No\u00ebl Coward’s Fallen Angels, which officially opened at the Todd Haimes Theatre on Broadway April 19 after beginning previews March 27. The limited engagement will continue through June 7.<\/p>\n

Fallen Angels follows two wealthy married women who, with husbands away, toast their pre-wedding loves\u2014who happen to be the same man, who’s on his way to visit. The work premiered in London in 1925, coming to Broadway in 1927. Early productions attracted the ire of censors, who objected to its shocking depiction of women acknowledging premarital sex.<\/p>\n

Starring Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You) as Jane Banbury and TO’Hara (The King and I) as Julia Sterroll, the leading pair are joined by Tracee Chimo<\/a> (Noises Off) as Saunders, Mark Conseulos (Orphans) as Maurice Duclos, Christopher Fitzgerald<\/a> (Waitress) as Willy Banbury, and Aasif Mandvi<\/a> (The Daily Show) as Fred Sterroll. Casting is by Carrie Gardner<\/a>, Stephen Kopel<\/a>, and Jim Carnahan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Scott Ellis<\/a> (Art) is directing the new staging, with scenic design by David Rockwell<\/a>, costume design by Jeff Mahshie<\/a>, lighting design by Kenneth Posner<\/a>, and sound design by John Gromada<\/a>. Hair and wig design for the production is by David Brian Brown<\/a> and Victoria Tinsman<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mary-Mitchell Campbell<\/a> is the production’s music consultant, Kate Wilson<\/a> is the voice coach, and additional material has been provided by Claudia Shear<\/a>. Larry Smiglewski<\/a> is the production stage manager, with production management by Aurora Productions<\/a>. Denise Cooper<\/a> is the general manager.<\/p>\n
