{"id":794171,"date":"2026-05-13T20:00:15","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T20:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/794171\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T20:00:15","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T20:00:15","slug":"freeway-closures-begin-friday-for-interchange-project-in-west-valley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/794171\/","title":{"rendered":"Freeway closures begin Friday for interchange project in West Valley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\"><b>PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 Construction is set to begin this weekend on a major project to expand the interchange connecting <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/1eHGub6PMc67jvNp6\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Loop 101 and Interstate 10<\/a> in the West Valley.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The project will require several weekend and weeknight closures over the next three years, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The first closure begins on Friday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Southbound Loop 101 between Indian School Road and I-10 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, May 15, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 18. The southbound Loop 101 ramps at Cardinals Way and Camelback Road will also be closed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">ADOT suggests exiting ahead of the closure and using southbound 91st or 99th avenues to reach I-10.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The $192 million project will add new ramps and enhance traffic flow in the area, ADOT said.
