{"id":794445,"date":"2026-05-13T22:44:17","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T22:44:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/794445\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T22:44:17","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T22:44:17","slug":"delta-scraps-drink-service-on-flights-from-some-ca-airports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/794445\/","title":{"rendered":"Delta Scraps Drink Service On Flights From Some CA Airports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Passengers flying on some Delta Air Lines flights departing from California airports will no longer be served snacks and drinks.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Delta will end its free snack and beverage service for economy passengers on flights of less than 350 miles, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2026\/05\/05\/travel\/delta-airlines-flight-snack-policy-update.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">the New York Times reported.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Previously, passengers on flights of less than 250 miles were not served refreshments.<\/p>\n<p>The change will impact several flights within California, such as those between Los Angeles and San Francisco, <a href=\"https:\/\/ktla.com\/news\/nationworld\/delta-food-drink-service-changes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">KTLA reported.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>About 9% of Delta&#8217;s daily flights will not have refreshment service due to the change. But Delta is also adding full beverage and snack service to other flights that previously did not have such service, the Times reported.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, some flights under 500 miles received a more limited service with fewer drink and snack options.
