Low-income households have received more than 77 percent of these investments.

“As we head into the hottest months of the year, Efficiency Arizona can be a lifeline for families wanting to be comfortable in their homes and lower the cost of their monthly energy bills,” Gov. Katie Hobbs said. “I encourage Arizonans to find out if they are eligible for Efficiency Arizona, to make their homes more energy-efficient and to lower their ongoing energy costs.”

Participating households have saved more than $7,000 on average in total project costs since the program launched in late 2024. Monthly energy bills have also shown additional cost savings after rebate projects are completed.

“Efficiency Arizona continues to expand its offerings, allowing more families to take advantage of reduced costs to unlock long-term utility bill savings and improve their home safety and comfort as we enter another record-breaking heat season,” Governor’s Office of Resiliency Director Maren Mahoney said. “This program is available in every county in the state through our HVAC-qualified contractors network and retail partners.”

Allen Home Comfort joined the program this month as a participating retailer. The Arizona-based online retail company sells heat pump water heaters, heat pump dryers and electric cooking appliances.

“As an eighth-generation Arizona family, we founded Allen Home Comfort in 2015 with a simple goal: helping homeowners lower their bills,” Jordan Allen, managing partner of Allen Home Comfort, said. “This partnership aligns perfectly with our deep-rooted commitment to making Arizona homes more comfortable and affordable.”

Approved applicants can hire a qualified contractor to complete rebate-eligible work or buy qualified products through a participating retailer, the office said. Rebates are available for heat pumps for heating and cooling, heat pump water heaters, heat pump dryers, electric cooking appliances, insulation, air sealing and ventilation, electric wiring, and electric load service upgrades.

The program is available to income-eligible Arizona households. Funding is anticipated to be available through 2029 for eligible Arizona households to upgrade their home and save on their energy bills.

For more information about the Efficiency Arizona program, visit EfficiencyArizona.com.

PHOENIX (KVOA) – The Arizona Governor’s Office of Resiliency announced its Efficiency Arizona program has provided its 1,000th…

[5131
5229,5643,1587,58420,718,425,50,1589,67,586,132,5230,68,2969
0":"post-794558","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-phoenix","8":"tag-america","9":"tag-arizona","10":"tag-az","11":"tag-cochisecounty","12":"tag-community","13":"tag-local","14":"tag-news","15":"tag-phoenix","16":"tag-united-states","17":"tag-united-states-of-america","18":"tag-unitedstates","19":"tag-unitedstatesofamerica","20":"tag-us","21":"tag-usa
["GET
