{"id":795300,"date":"2026-05-14T07:19:21","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T07:19:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/795300\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T07:19:21","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T07:19:21","slug":"fort-worth-kimbell-getting-rare-exhibit-of-ancient-egypt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/795300\/","title":{"rendered":"Fort Worth Kimbell getting rare exhibit of ancient Egypt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Next year, visitors to the Kimbell Art Museum will get a rare opportunity to see artifacts from over 3,000 years of ancient Egyptian history in the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/kimbellart.org\/holy-sepulcher?gad_source=1&amp;gad_campaignid=23590509769&amp;gbraid=0AAAAACmHXoipmrqV_lIPVeFBlXviIG4U7&amp;gclid=CjwKCAjwwpDQBhAuEiwAa-4Wowq1v5-xZbcSvLfAkxDFp8KTpgsyZNZbT6MHoDD90tzuiF-8WJmiahoCC-AQAvD_BwE\">\u201cTreasures of the Pharaohs\u201d exhibit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Kimbell announced May 12 that the museum is one of only two venues in the United States to exhibit 130 artifacts showing the lives and history of the pharaohs who ruled ancient Egypt. The artifacts are from the Luxor Museum and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTreasures of the Pharaohs\u201d will run from March 14, 2027, through Sept. 19, 2027, according to a news release from the museum.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit will be in the Renzo Piano Pavilion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the scale and splendor of some of the artifacts on view to the revelations about day-to-day life and inclusion of objects from one of the most recently excavated sites in Egypt, visitors will find this exhibition brilliant, both visually and intellectually,\u201d Eric M.
