Cherney<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">SAN FRANCISCO, May 13 (Reuters) &#8211; The foundation of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and \u200chis wife, Lori, is buying computing time from \u200cCoreWeave and donating it to universities and other nonprofit institutes, according \u200bto a filing that valued the donation at $108.3 million so far.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">According to a filing on Tuesday, the computing resources will be used for science and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/tech.yahoo.com\/ai\/\" data-i13n=\"cpos:1;pos:1\" data-ylk=\"slk:artificial intelligence;cpos:1;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkPosition&quot;:&quot;1&quot;,&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;context_link&quot;,&quot;yPosition&quot;:&quot;1&quot;,&quot;yModuleName&quot;:&quot;content-canvas&quot;,&quot;yLinkText&quot;:&quot;artificial intelligence&quot;,&quot;yHasCommerce&quot;:false}\" target=\"_blank\">artificial intelligence<\/a> research. \u200cNvidia plans to offer \u2060free engineering services to some of the grant recipients, it said in the filing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">While \u2060the gift demonstrates Huang&#8217;s largesse, it also represents another support measure from Nvidia to CoreWeave, a cloud computing company \u200bthat specializes \u200bin AI applications.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Nvidia designs \u200bthe graphics processing units, \u200cor GPUs, that CoreWeave offers customers.
