You f\u2014in\u2019 tosser,\u201d Sykes shouted to the audience while crouched at the front of the stage picking up the phone, in a moment <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=00865re3Pyc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">caught on a fan video<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the injury, Sykes finished the show, though the band cut \u201cYOUtopia\u201d from the set and he did not enter the crowd during \u201cDrown\u201d as he usually does.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlright everyone \u2013 just wanted to let you know I\u2019m all good.\u201d Sykes wrote in an Instagram Story after the incident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe phone to the head definitely smarted and I ended up with a mild concussion, but the swelling\u2019s gone down a decent amount already.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast night I was struggling a bit on stage afterwards because singing was putting a lot of pressure on the wound and making things feel a bit disorienting while performing, so I\u2019m sorry on my part for what may of seemed like a half-hearted performance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho the f\u2014 just threw a phone at my f\u2014in\u2019 head? You f\u2014in\u2019 tosser,\u201d Sykes shouted to the audience. @Sakiika_vv\/X<\/p>\n<p>Sykes said afterwards that he struggled on stage as singing put pressure on his head wound. @Sakiika_vv\/X<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAppreciate everyone checking in and worrying about me though \ud83d\udda4 Everything should be fine for tonight\u2019s gig.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bring Me the Horizon <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/10\/06\/ticket-sales\/bring-me-the-horizon-usa-ascension-program-tour-extended-where-to-buy-tickets\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">continued their spring North American tour<\/a> with shows in Kansas City, MO and Saint Paul, Minn. earlier this week, before upcoming stops in Rosemont, IL on May 15 and a headlining appearance at the Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus, OH on May 16.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, the band played a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in New York City on May 2.<\/p>\n<p>The performance marked a significant milestone for Bring Me the Horizon in the US, as it was the group\u2019s first-ever show at MSG.<\/p>\n<p>Bring Me the Horizon played a sold-out Madison Square Garden show in New York City on May 2. Pop star Bebe Rexha was <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/06\/19\/bebe-rexha-hit-in-the-face-by-phone-while-performing-in-nyc\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">struck in the face by a cellphone<\/a> during a concert in NYC in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The 33-year-old Brooklyn native was moving upstage toward the audience while performing at The Rooftop at Pier 17 when the phone hit her just below her left eye.<\/p>\n<p>Rexha then turned away from the crowd and fell to her knees as crew members rushed to assist her.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Phones are not for flying.
