One of my students is an 8-year-old second-grader from Haiti. Her parents are preparing her for a possible return to Haiti as the Supreme Court weighs whether President Trump can cancel their Temporary Protected Status.<\/p>\n<p>This would return this wonderful child and her family to an area the U.S. State Department categorizes as \u201cLevel 4: Do Not Travel\u201d due to kidnapping, gang violence, civil unrest and terrorism, per the State Department\u2019s website.
