The production features timeless songs like \u201cThe Candy Man,\u201d \u201cMr. Bojangles,\u201d \u201cI\u2019ve Gotta Be Me,\u201d and \u201cWhat Kind of Fool Am I.\u201d Casa Ma\u00f1ana&#8217;s Reid Cabaret Theatre will present an elegant evening featuring passed appetizers, a champagne toast, and black-tie optional attire. Headlining the live entertainment lineup will be country singer Jack Ingram, who will close the night on Saturday. He started out writing for comedic icons like Martin Lawrence, Sinbad, Jay Leno, Colin Quinn, and Ben Stiller. A founding writer and original cast member of MADtv, Jones blends storytelling, razor-sharp political and cultural commentary, and the kind of jokes you think about three days later and start laughing in public like a lunatic. Audiences will watch the White Swan embody innocence and grace while the fierce Black Swan dazzles with diamond-like brilliance. With opulent sets and newly refurbished costumes, the production promises a journey into one of the most widely acclaimed classical ballets. While they haven&#8217;t released an album since 2015&#8217;s I Made It, they&#8217;re sure to put on another entertaining concert at Billy Bob&#8217;s Texas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, May 16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fortworth.culturemap.com\/eventdetail\/national-theatre-live-presents-the-fifth-step\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><a href=\"https:\/\/fortworth.culturemap.com\/eventdetail\/national-theatre-live-presents-the-fifth-step\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">National Theatre Live presents The Fifth Step<\/a><\/strong><br \/>Olivier Award winner Jack Lowden (Slow Horses, Dunkirk) is joined by Emmy and BAFTA winner Martin Freeman (The Hobbit, The Responder) in The Fifth Step, a subversively funny new play by David Ireland. After years in the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous, James becomes a sponsor to newcomer Luka. The pair bond over black coffee, trade stories, and build a fragile friendship out of their shared experiences. But this stop at Globe Life Field in Arlington is scheduled to be officially \u2014 truly! \u2014 the last ever tour date for a band that&#8217;s been existence since 1971 (they do have a six-show residency planned for The Sphere in Las Vegas later in 2026, though). If you&#8217;re a fan, it will be your final chance to hear songs like &#8220;Hotel California,&#8221; &#8220;Life in the Fast Lane,&#8221; &#8220;Heartache Tonight,&#8221; and more sung live by Don Henley and his bandmates.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fortworth.culturemap.com\/eventdetail\/fort-worth-symphony-orchestra-presents-coplands-appalachian-spring-and-barbers-knoxville\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents &#8220;Copland\u2019s Appalachian Spring and Barber\u2019s Knoxville&#8221;<\/a><\/strong><br \/>Aaron Copland\u2019s Appalachian Spring tells the story of a young couple on the American frontier, from the wedding-day jitters to festive songs and dances to passages of utter serenity. The concert will also feature Copland\u2019s Four Dances from Rodeo, American soprano Susanna Phillips singing Samuel Barber\u2019s Knoxville: Summer of 1915, and Fletcher\u2019s Three American Songs. The concert, conducted by Robert Spano, takes place at Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fortworth.culturemap.com\/eventdetail\/stoney-larue-concert-billy-bobs-texas\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Stoney LaRue in concert<\/a><\/strong><br \/>Singer-songwriter Stoney LaRue is a stalwart of the Texas Country\/Red Dirt music scene, having put out six albums since 2002, most recently Onward in 2019. LaRue is as close to a regular at Billy Bob&#8217;s as you can get, having played there multiple times and even recording a live album there in 2007.
