{"id":795955,"date":"2026-05-14T14:04:15","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T14:04:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/795955\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T14:04:15","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T14:04:15","slug":"pasadena-humane-to-waive-adoption-fees-for-adult-dogs-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/795955\/","title":{"rendered":"Pasadena Humane to waive adoption fees for adult dogs \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pasadena Humane will launch a fee-waived adoption campaign Friday aimed at helping adult dogs find permanent homes. \u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;May I Go Home With You?&#8221; campaign will run through May 24 and will waive adoption fees for all dogs 6 months and older at the Pasadena shelter.<\/p>\n<p>According to Pasadena Humane, more than 40 adult dogs are currently available for adoption.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said adult dogs often remain at shelters longer than puppies despite being well-suited for many households because they are typically beyond the early stages of puppy training.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These dogs are eager for a second chance &#8212; one filled with neighborhood walks, couch cuddles, and the chance to become someone&#8217;s loyal best friend,&#8221; the organization said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The promotion is intended to reduce financial barriers to adoption while increasing visibility for older dogs in need of homes, officials said. \u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>All adoptions will include spay or neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations and a microchip.
