The locations on tap for the 2026 improvements include stores in Lewisville on Hebron Parkway, Fort Worth on Tom Landry Freeway and in eastern Garland.<\/p>\n<p>Target also is adding stores in North Texas, including opening a site earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/business\/retail\/2026\/03\/11\/target-debuts-in-oak-cliff-after-long-wait\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">in the Oak Cliff area<\/a> earlier this year. Others slated for the region include Little Elm, Forney and Fort Worth, the company said on its website.<\/p>\n<p>The D-FW area is attracting more stores and investments from retailers around the country.\u00a0Walmart has added new stores and recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/business\/retail\/article\/walmart-steps-investments-texas-72-store-remodels-22209090.php\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">unveiled plans to remodel others<\/a>. Costco, H-E-B and Sprouts Farmers Market also opened new spots in the region, and there\u2019s a new warehouse chain addition with\u00a0BJ\u2019s Wholesale Club.<\/p>\n<p>Target is investing about $5 billion this year toward 130-plus remodels and 30 new stores with markets that range from Los Angeles to New York City, it said in a statement on its website.
