As the San Antonio Spurs look to close out the Minnesota\u00a0Timberwolves in Game 6 on Friday night, bars, restaurants and fan hubs across the city are preparing for what could become one of the loudest playoff atmospheres of the postseason.<\/p>\n
The biggest gathering is expected to be the official Spurs Game 6 watch party at The Rock at La Cantera, where up to 6,000 fans are expected for the free \u201cSpurs Blackout\u201d themed event.<\/p>\n
The party begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday with tipoff scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Fans can expect playoff T-shirt giveaways while supplies last, DJ Quake, Zay Zay, special appearances, and live entertainment throughout the evening.<\/p>\n
Before the game, dueling pianos will perform from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. ahead of tipoff.<\/p>\n
Admission is first-come, first-served, and parking is limited, with overflow Park & Ride options available from The Shops at La Cantera.<\/p>\n
City Base Cinema is offering a free, theater-style viewing experience. Admission is free, and fans can reserve seats to watch the game in air-conditioned auditoriums with recliners and VIP seating.<\/p>\n
Screenings are scheduled around regular movie showings, with multiple theaters available depending on demand. Concessions such as popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, and drinks will also be available.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sideliners Grill is hosting a family-friendly Spurs watch party Friday night, featuring drink specials and game audio throughout the evening.<\/p>\n
The sports bar encouraged fans to wear their Spurs gear and gather for the Game 6 matchup against Minnesota.<\/p>\n
The Growler Exchange plans to show the game on a projector screen while offering playoff food and drink specials, including $5 select pints and $8 pepperoni pizzas.<\/p>\n
Downtown, McFly\u2019s Bar & Barbecue is preparing for a Game 6 crowd with the matchup airing on its big screen alongside Michelob ULTRA promotions and halftime contests.<\/p>\n
In Southtown, The Friendly Spot Ice House is expecting another large playoff crowd Friday night with two giant LED screens and first-come, first-served seating.<\/p>\n
