\n\tGotham City is welcoming a few new faces as production on The Batman<\/a>: Part II gets underway.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Deadline reported that Sebastian Stan<\/a> was in talks to join the sequel<\/a> as Harvey Dent (aka Two-Face) and Scarlett Johansson<\/a> was also eyeing a role<\/a>, writer and director Matt Reeves<\/a> confirmed his casting on social media with a GIF, along with several new cast members. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIn a Gotham state of mind\u2026 Welcome,\u201d wrote Reeves with Stan\u2019s announcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tKeeping up the Gen Z-friendly announcements, Reeves shared GIFs of Brian Tyree Henry<\/a>, Sebastian Koch<\/a> and Charles Dance<\/a>, whose casting Deadline previously reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThey join returning stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne\/Batman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon and Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb\/The Penguin<\/p>\n

\n\tLast week, Reeves revealed that production has begun<\/a> on The Batman: Part II<\/a>, teasing set photos of the Batmobile driving through snow.<\/p>\n

\n\tGunn revealed last July that the script for The Batman: Part II was finished<\/a>, following several delays. In August, a letter to Warner Bros.
