A dinner guest who witnessed Britney Spears\u2019 \u201coutburst\u201d<\/a> at a Los Angeles restaurant detailed the pop star\u2019s \u201crough\u201d night.<\/p>\n

In an exclusive interview with Page Six, Jeff Sneider recalled that he and a friend arrived at Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks at around 7 p.m. PT on Wednesday night. Soon after, a woman \u201cbehind sunglasses\u201d and two of her friends walked in, but he did not immediately realize it was the Princess of Pop. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe woman sat down and proceeded to make a lot of woofing or barking noises and just throw a lot of outbursts,\u201d he alleged on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt wasn\u2019t really until she took off her sunglasses that we realized, \u2018Oh no, this is Britney Spears.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Jeff Sneider told us that soon after he arrived at Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks on Wednesday night, Spears and her two friends walked in. TMZ<\/p>\n

Sneider \u2014 who has been an entertainment reporter for 20 years<\/a> \u2014 alleged that Spears \u201ckept standing up and sitting down and moving around the restaurant.\u201d <\/p>\n

He also claimed that at one point while she was standing up, she may have \u201cforgot to put down her silverware\u201d and was holding a knife.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t threatened or anything like that,\u201d he clarified. \u201cBut when she eventually left, I turned around and was like, \u2018Holy s\u2014t that was crazy!\u2019 to the entire section.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sneider alleged that one woman sitting in their section felt threatened, and said of Spears, \u201cShe had a knife and came toward me. I thought she was going to stab me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Sneider doesn\u2019t think that the Grammy winner had any violent intention, he said she was \u201cdefinitely a nuisance to sit next to at dinner.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also alleged that the two other people in Spears\u2019 party \u201ctried to coax her back into her seat\u201d throughout the dinner, but were unsuccessful in their attempts. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey definitely tried their best to get a handle on her but she was obviously a handful,\u201d he claimed.<\/p>\n

Sneider did not witness Spears \u2014 who recently finished rehab treatment<\/a> \u2014 drink any alcoholic beverages at the restaurant. <\/p>\n

He also claimed that at one point while she was standing up, she may have \u201cforgot to put down her silverware\u201d and was holding a knife. Page Six<\/p>\n

Sneider made it clear that he \u201cwasn\u2019t threatened\u201d by Spears who \u201cpicked at \u201d a burger and fries (pictured here) throughout the ordeal. Page Six<\/p>\n

He said at one point Spears \u201clit up a cigarette inside the restaurant\u201d and that staff told one of the people she was with that she had to put it out.<\/p>\n

As for what the superstar ate, Sneider claimed that she \u201cpicked at\u201d her burger and french fries and that she and the bodyguard \u201cfed each other some fries.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI never got the impression they were asked to leave,\u201d he told us, though he alleged there was a lot of food \u201cleft on the table and underneath the table\u201d and that Spears \u201cdefinitely made a mess.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was in rough shape last night and it was hard for me and my friend to carry on a conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Spears\u2019 rep shut down claims<\/a> that his client potentially posed any danger during the alleged episode. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis is completely blown out of proportion. Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard. She was simply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors,\u201d her rep said in a statement to Page Six Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt no point did she put anyone in danger with a knife,\u201d they continued. \u201cShe was cutting her hamburger in half.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Thursday morning, TMZ reported that the singer \u201cwas raising her voice, screaming and even barking at times\u201d in a \u201cchaotic\u201d scene during her Wednesday night meal.<\/p>\n

Spears\u2019 rep denied all claims that she posed any danger and said she was \u201csimply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors.\u201d Britney Spears \/ Instagram<\/p>\n

Spears reportedly dined at the restaurant with a woman and a man. At one point, a restaurant patron told TMZ the singer walked by their table with a knife, prompting fears that she might harm someone with the sharp utensil.<\/p>\n

Page Six reached out to Blue Dog Tavern for comment but didn\u2019t receive an immediate response. <\/p>\n

The concerning news comes just a month after Spears\u00a0checked herself into a rehab facility<\/a>\u00a0following\u00a0her March DUI arrest<\/a>. She was\u00a0seen for the first time\u00a0on April 30 after completing her rehab stay.<\/p>\n

Shortly after her return home, an insider told Page Six that the \u201cSlave 4 U\u201d songstress was \u201cdoing really well\u201d and \u201cexcited to start afresh.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n
