The RDX was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/861413\/honda-acura-rdx-two-motor-hybrid-base-station-rv\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced earlier this year<\/a> as Honda\u2019s first SUV to feature the next-gen version of its two-motor hybrid system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">In March, Honda <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/tech\/900219\/sony-honda-afeela-discontinue-cancel-refund\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> it would take a writedown of up to 2.5 trillion yen ($15.7 billion) on its EV investments.
