The broad-daylight shooting between two warring gangs unfolded along Southern Boulevard in Longwood around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, sending\u00a0innocent bystanders scattering for cover, sources said.<\/p>\n
The unidentified girl, who was listed in stable condition at Harlem Hospital, was caught in the crossfire and grazed on the right side of her head by one of the bullets while standing next to her mom.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The\u00a0gunmen appeared\u00a0to have been very close to them when they opened fire, according to the sources.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m shocked,\u201d the wounded girl\u2019s neighbor, said Thursday. \u201cI heard it on the news, but wasn\u2019t even thinking it\u2019s my neighbor. I don\u2019t believe this. All this is crazy. I mean, c\u2019mon.<\/p>\n

Another bandana-donning suspect \u2013 with his pants slipping to reveal apparent multi-colored underwear \u2013 just barely spun around to shoot behind. His gunshots went sailing over the head of his cowardly fellow shooter.<\/p>\n
Neighborhood merchants told The Post that the area is typically flooded with\u00a0trouble-makers who\u2019ve\u00a0even threatened store owners.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been working here for 20 years and it has gotten worse,\u201d one worker said. \u201cThey used to wait until nighttime and hide. Now they are bold. They don\u2019t care about children, people on the sidewalk, people in the parks, a bunch of ladies.<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel horrible for the little girl,\u201d she said. \u201cI think she had an angel watching over her.\u201d<\/p>\n
