LOGAN SQUARE \u2014 Porches, Bad Bad Hats and Catie Turner are among the musicians who will take the stages at this year\u2019s Logan Square Arts Festival.<\/p>\n
The popular Logan Square Arts Fest, back this year<\/a> after skipping last year because of construction, announced its lineup Thursday. The fest will be June 26-28 at the Logan Square monument and expanded plaza space, 3150 W. Logan Blvd. It\u2019ll be the 14th rendition of the event in 17 years.<\/p>\n The lineup includes 38 musical acts and performances, with Porches, a New York-based project of critically acclaimed songwriter and producer Aaron Maine<\/a>, set to take the main stage June 26. Bad Bad Hats<\/a>, the Minneapolis indie pop duo of Kerry Alexander and Chris Hoge, will headline June 27, and \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d alum Catie Turner<\/a> is headlining June 28.<\/p>\n Other acts on the fest\u2019s first day include Naydja Bruton\u2019s Rhythm Ninjas, a drummer-led Chicago ensemble that\u2019s popular in the city\u2019s experimental and jazz-adjacent scene; Angel Davanport<\/a>, a queer Chicago-based singer and rapper from Cabrini-Green who blends rap and R&B; and indie rock pair OK Cool.<\/p>\n Second-day supporting acts include a strong Chicago lineup featuring Accessory<\/a>, the solo project of Dehd\u2019s Jason Balla, who recently released his first album and is on tour; Abel, a Mexican-American Chicago singer-songwriter; and CRASHwolves. Five other local groups will also perform that day.<\/p>\n South Side rock band The Dead Bolts<\/a> will take the stage on the fest\u2019s third and final day, as will Sophia Cruz<\/a>, voted the Reader\u2019s Best Singer-Songwriter and Best R&B Artist of 2025.
