Timothy Stephan told NBC10 that the officers went toward the gunshot sounds and found a man lying on the ground on the 1100 block of Kater Street. <\/p>\n<p>The man was unresponsive and had a gunshot wound to his head, Capt. Stephan said. He was taken to the hospital by police and was placed in extremely critical condition. <\/p>\n<p>Officers at the scene said they found a firearm, a shoe and Ray Ban Meta AI glasses under the victim. Detectives are looking into whether the glasses were recording when the shooting happened. <\/p>\n<p>A vehicle driving by was also hit by the gunfire but no one was hurt inside that car, Capt. Stephan explained. <\/p>\n<p>Detectives reported finding a second handgun that had been thrown away into a nearby backyard. <\/p>\n<p>No word yet on what led to the shooting. <\/p>\n<p><strong>This is a developing story.
