She went to college at Pomona and later traveled the world, married a man she met in an art museum, lived in Paris and Italy, and eventually divorced. Marion had many successful years as an editor in publishing, and lived in her house in La Jolla for fifty years, with many cats whom she adored over the years, Olly being her most special. She enjoyed and supported local music, art, and theater. She took and taught art classes at the Atheneum and the Water Color Society, wrote, and continued her European travel.

Marion was an accomplished artist, displaying, selling, and winning awards over the years. In lieu of a service, Marion’s family will be displaying and donating her beautiful art, so that as she wished, it would end up being loved and appreciated on someone’s wall. Her tribute is Saturday May 16 from 3-5 pm.
