{"id":798406,"date":"2026-05-15T14:55:16","date_gmt":"2026-05-15T14:55:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/798406\/"},"modified":"2026-05-15T14:55:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T14:55:16","slug":"enalapril-blood-pressure-medication-recalled-nationwide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/798406\/","title":{"rendered":"Enalapril blood pressure medication recalled nationwide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thousands of tablets of a blood pressure medication have been\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.houstonchronicle.com\/news\/houston-texas\/trending\/article\/chocolate-bar-food-recall-22250614.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">recalled<\/a> due to possible impurities, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0675 bottles of enalapril maleate tablets, sold in 20-milligram capsules in 1,000-count packaging, was voluntarily recalled by the manufacturer on April 23, according to the FDA report.<\/p>\n<p>The medication, which is used to treat hypertension and symptomatic congestive heart failure, failed a test for impurity and degradation specifications, the FDA states.\u00a0The FDA says the product is \u201cnot likely to cause adverse health consequences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The lot number for the recalled medication is GEH25023 with an expiration of 6\/30\/2027.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The medication is manufactured by Unique Pharmaceutical Laboratories, a division of J.B.
