Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Higgo, who estimated he was 30 seconds late to his 7:18 a.m. tee time Thursday, started the day with a two-stroke penalty as punishment and finished at a 1-under 69 on the day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was there on time, but the rule is if you\u2019re one second late, you\u2019re late,\u201d Higgo said, adding \u201cI was just happy they allowed me to tee off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"It seems like everyone at the PGA Championships is getting teed off.
