Good afternoon, Chicago.<\/p>\n

Five months before elections, candidates for Chicago\u2019s first fully elected school board have raised more than $830,000<\/a>, with board president hopeful\u00a0Sendhil Revuluri\u00a0accounting for nearly one-third of that total.<\/p>\n

The Chicago Teachers Union and special interest groups that\u00a0spent heavily\u00a0on the\u00a02024 board race<\/a>\u00a0have yet to make significant contributions. But many are mobilizing for what may well be the largest school board election in the country.<\/p>\n
