See a roundup of results from the area, and check back for updates.<\/p>\n<p>Keller\u2019s Cole Koeninger shines as Indians even series<\/p>\n<p>Keller senior Cole Koeninger, a Tennessee pledge, was electric on the mound as the Indians forced game three in a Class 6A Division I regional semifinal series.<\/p>\n<p>Koeninger pitched the entire game, allowing one hit and giving up two walks. He struck out 16 batters. Offensively, Keller tallied two hits as a team and walked twice, but it was enough to complete the shutout victory.<\/p>\n<p>Game three is scheduled for noon Saturday at Coppell Sports Complex.<\/p>\n<p>Aledo advances to regional finals<\/p>\n<p>For the second consecutive season, Aledo will play in the regional finals.<\/p>\n<p>The Bearcats trounced Amarillo 7-2 in game two of a UIL Class 5A Division I regional semifinal series to finish a sweep at Abilene Christian University. Aledo\u2019s offense scored 15 runs in the series to Amarillo\u2019s three.<\/p>\n<p>Aledo (35-3) will face El Paso Americas at a time and place that is to be determined.<\/p>\n<p>Pitcher Luke Sandefur paved the way, conceding two hits and allowing no earned runs in 4 2\/3 innings. He walked five batters and tallied six strikeouts. Dane Brown took over in relief and allowed zero hits the rest of the game.<\/p>\n<p>LSU pledge Lucas Nawrocki was a force, tallying four RBIs on two doubles. Six Bearcats had multiple hits: Nawrocki, Wilson Sehnem, Luke Gladchuck, Landon Barnes, Dylan Duran and Jackson Loos.<\/p>\n<p>The Bearcats are searching for their first championship repeat in program history.<\/p>\n<p>Trinity\u2019s late surge not enough as Hebron forces game three<\/p>\n<p>Euless Trinity (25-10-2) trailed Hebron 3-0 in the seventh inning in game two of a Class 6A Division I regional semifinal series but got in a position to tie the game after a solo home run from Zorian Palmore.<\/p>\n<p>It seemed the Trojans would tie the game on a single from David Dagnino, but Trinity\u2019s Ian Mason hesitated rounding third and stuck his finger up in celebration \u2014 the confusion led to Hebron getting the game\u2019s final out at home plate off a cannon of a throw from Casey McGinnis.<\/p>\n<p>Game three will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Lake Dallas High School.<\/p>\n<p>Birdville loses twice, drops series to Americas<\/p>\n<p>Birdville started the day with a one-game advantage over El Paso Americas in a Class 5A Division I regional semifinal series at Permian High School.<\/p>\n<p>But things took a turn, and Birdville (24-14-2) dropped consecutive games on Friday and was eliminated. The Hawks lost game two in extra innings; the contest was tied at 2-2 after both teams scored twice in the third inning, but from then on, both teams struggled to find a groove.<\/p>\n<p>The game was scoreless until the eighth inning, when Americas (27-8-1) seized a walk-off win on a Hawk error. Birdville starting pitcher Carsen Blake threw the entire game, surrendering five hits and zero earned runs.<\/p>\n<p>In that contest, Birdville outhit Americas 12-5 but struggled situationally.
