Forney police and fire personnel responded to the scene.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Three people were aboard the single-engine plane when it made an emergency landing in a field. According to the Dallas Police Department, all three were off-duty officers with the force.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Two were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, and a third was treated and released at the scene, a City of Forney spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/img_3194.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"auto\" data-v-2fe2fe3e=\"\"\/>  <\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">The FAA later identified the plane as a Bellanca Downer 14-19-3.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Forney police are working with the FAA and Texas DPS to investigate the incident.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KDFW\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-94395e58=\"\">What we don&#8217;t know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">The names of the officers were not released.
