PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — This rising music star is bringing his original songs from the streets of Philadelphia to thousands of screens online.<\/p>\n
Joshua Mitchell has gained an impressive following sharing his talents with the world.<\/p>\n
He often can be found doing street performances in Rittenhouse Square.<\/p>\n
“My whole life I’ve been…that kid locked in my room… just secretly writing songs and singing to myself. So to now have the confidence to actually come out and perform these songs and then also see people respond to them in a great way. Yeah, it definitely brings joy to my heart,” said Mitchell.<\/p>\n
On June 7th, Mitchell will be hosting his own performance at City Winery Philadelphia<\/a>.<\/p>\n “I say all the time that no matter how big I get, I’m always going to come back to Rittenhouse and put on a performance.
