The pair was from Canada.<\/p>\n<p>A search was launched but  law enforcement identified inconsistencies in the father\u2019s account of events and the timeline he provided.<\/p>\n<p>Several law enforcement agencies searched for Melina and they found her dead in Ticonderoga, New York.<\/p>\n<p>Police say there is no indication that an abduction occurred.
