Saddle up, country music fans! The 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards are finally here<\/a>. The genre’s biggest and brightest stars are gathered at the MGM Grand Garden Arena tonight to celebrate a standout year in country music<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Topping this year\u2019s nominees is Megan Moroney<\/a>, who is up for a total of nine awards, including her first-ever nominations for Artist-Songwriter of the Year and the coveted Entertainer of the Year.\u00a0 Moroney, however, won\u2019t be attending \u2014 she announced in an Instagram story<\/a> that she\u2019s out of the country, acting as a maid of honor in her best friend\u2019s wedding.<\/p>\n

Following close behind is Miranda Lambert, the most decorated artist in ACM Awards history. Lambert, whose recent duet with rumored frenemy Kacey Musgraves<\/a> made headlines last month, is inominated in eight categories, including Female Artist of the Year.<\/p>\n

Also topping this year\u2019s nominees are Ella Langley \u2014 the new queen of modern country<\/a>, who had already won four awards about halfway through the show \u2014 and Lainey Wilson, the reigning ACM Awards Entertainer of the Year.<\/p>\n

Some artists were awarded<\/a> before the show, including Avery Anna and Tucker Wetmore, who won in the New Artist of the Year categories.<\/p>\n

The star-studded slate of performers<\/a> includes several of the awards show\u2019s nominated singer-songwriters, such as Lambert, Langley and Wilson. Musgraves will also bring music from her freshly released LP, Middle of Nowhere, to the MGM Grand Garden Arena for a highly anticipated performance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emceed by none other than Shania Twain, the awards show also features an impressive roster of presenters<\/a> that includes ACM Award winners Ashley McBryde, Shaboozey and Keith Urban.<\/p>\n
