HOUSTON<\/strong> \u2013 A motorcyclist died early Monday morning, leading to the exit ramp on Katy Freeway in east Harris County<\/a> being shut down. <\/p>\n Details are limited, as it\u2019s an active investigation, but Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the rider reportedly went over the ramp on SH-99 and died upon impact. <\/p>\n A scene investigation remains underway at the Katy Freeway and SH-99. @HCSOTexas<\/a> deputies are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle rider.
