FITCHBURG, Mass. \u2014 A Massachusetts man is celebrating a remarkable stroke of luck after purchasing two winning Powerball tickets, each worth $1 million. <\/p>\n
Paul Corcoran, a resident of Fitchburg in the north-central part of the state, initially bought a multi-draw ticket for the Powerball drawing on July 9. <\/p>\n
Believing there might be an issue with the ticket, Corcoran decided to purchase a second ticket at a store about ten minutes away. To his surprise, both tickets matched five of the winning numbers, though neither matched the Powerball number. <\/p>\n
Corcoran is now $2 million richer.
