An unidentified straphanger fell to his death between Brooklyn train cars during a scuffle with someone who took his backpack early Tuesday, cops and sources said.<\/p>\n
The man realized he had left his bag on board a Manhattan-bound No. 3 train while getting off at the New Lots Avenue station at Livonia Avenue in East New York around 12:45 a.m. and quickly hopped back on, law enforcement sources said.<\/p>\n
When he spotted an apparent stranger with his bag, the two riders started fighting between cars, the sources said.<\/p>\n

The victim fell onto the tracks during the fracas, according to the sources.<\/p>\n
First responders found him unconscious and unresponsive on the roadbed, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.<\/p>\n
A black backpack and a black sneaker with white stripes could still be seen on the platform behind yellow crime scene tape as cops investigated.<\/p>\n
