(KLTV) &#8211; Former Hallsville Bobcat Justin Slaten earned his fourth hold of the season in Boston\u2019s 3-1 win over Kansas City on Monday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The right-hander entered the game in the seventh inning. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">After Sonny Gray allowed a walk and an RBI double, Slaten struck out Isaac Collins before getting Michael Massey to ground out to second. Slaten got Kyle Isbel to strike out to end the inning. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Slaten threw 17 pitches, 11 for strikes. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Boston (20-27) continues its series against Kansas City (20-28) on Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KLTV.
