CHICAGO (WLS) — A man has been charged with shooting two women as they argued on Chicago’s West Side on Sunday evening, police said.<\/p>\n

Chicago police said the shooting<\/a> happened in the South Austin neighborhood’s 100-block of North Mayfield Avenue just after 8 p.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n

Two women, 36 and 44, were arguing outside when 34-year-old William Hall allegedly approached them, took out a gun, and fired shots, striking them, police said.<\/p>\n

Both women suffered gunshot wounds to their legs and were taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition.<\/p>\n

Officers took Hall into custody on the scene. He is now charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery\/Use Deadly Weapon, two counts of Aggravated Battery\/Discharge Firearm, and one count of Felony Possession of a Weapon, police said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Hall is due in court on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Police did not immediately provide further information.<\/p>\n
