Organized by OCA-Greater Houston, the annual fundraiser requires a minimum $15 donation, which unlocks a QR-code dining pass while also supporting rice and care package donations for low-income Houston seniors. Participating restaurants include spots like <b>Agnes &amp; Sherman<\/b> and <b>Aka Sushi<\/b>, among dozens of others citywide.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.texasmonthly.com\/event\/2026-texas-monthly-taco-fest\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Texas Monthly Taco Fest<\/a> returns to <b>Discovery Green,<\/b> 1500 McKinney, on Saturday, May 23, bringing together more than a dozen taquerias featured on Texas Monthly\u2019s \u201cTop 50 Tacos in Texas\u201d list for an all-you-can-eat taco celebration with live music and entertainment. Participating spots include Houston favorites <b>Cochinita &amp; Co.<\/b>, <b>J-Bar-M Barbecue<\/b> and other acclaimed taco joints from across the state. General admission starts at $60 and includes taco samples, while VIP tickets are $85 with early entry at 5 p.m.; general admission begins at 5:30 p.m. and the event runs through 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Landry\u2019s Signature Group<\/b> is rolling out its <a href=\"https:\/\/specials.landrysinc.com\/chefseries\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">2026 Houston Chef Series, \u201cA Night at the Theater,\u201d<\/a> a multi-week dinner series pairing five-course chef-driven menus with classic film themes and cocktail or wine pairings at participating restaurants across Houston. Upcoming dinners include Glenn Espinosa at <b>Vic &amp; Anthony\u2019s Steakhouse<\/b> on Thursday, May 28; Frank Lewis at <b>Morton\u2019s The Steakhouse <\/b>on Thursday, June 4; Ricky Cruz at <b>Grotto Ristorante <\/b>on Thursday, June 11; Erick Bocanegra at <b>King Ranch Texas Kitchen<\/b> on Thursday, June 18; Jayme Ramirez at <b>Willie G\u2019s Seafood<\/b> on Thursday, June 25; and Misael Saucedo at <b>Brenner\u2019s on the Bayou<\/b> on Thursday, July 9. Most dinners begin at 7 p.m. and are priced at $125 per person plus tax, with menus and pairings varying by chef and film inspiration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brewsology.com\/houston\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brewsology Beer Fest<\/a> returns to the <b>Houston Museum of Natural Science<\/b>, 5555 Hermann Park, on Saturday, May 30 from 7 to 11 p.m., turning the museum into an after-hours craft beer festival with access to exhibits, science displays and beer tastings from more than 50 breweries and cideries. General admission starts at $60 and includes entry from 8 to 11 p.m. with unlimited samples, while early admission ($75) adds a 7 p.m. entry and specialty pours, and VIP tickets ($95) include early access, souvenir glassware and $30 in food credit. The event is ages 21 and up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The World at the Table, a one-night collaborative dinner inspired by Houston\u2019s global culinary scene and the upcoming World Cup, takes place Monday, June 1 at 5:30 p.m. at <b>Kitchen Rumors<\/b>, 2310 Decatur. Hosted by the teams behind <b>Kitchen Rumors<\/b> and<b> Traveler\u2019s Table<\/b>, the five-course dinner brings together chefs Jassi Bindra, Hugo Ortega, Lena Le, Ardian Brantoro and Rafael Nasr for a globally influenced menu featuring dishes like duck confit tacos, scallop and Gulf shrimp dumplings, Balinese-style lamb chop tongseng and Lebanese knafeh, all paired with wine.
