He was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The attack took place within the NYPD\u2019s Midtown North precinct, where felony assaults have slightly risen compared to this time last year, according to the latest data, updated Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A total of 1,084 such crimes were reported during that period this year, while 1,074 occurred in the same span in 2025, the statistics show.\u00a0<\/p>\n
