(Photo by Stu Forster\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-312160\" title=\"Alexander Isak's agent confirms they're close to his &quot;next step&quot; 2\"\/>Photo by Stu Forster\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Saudi Arabian website <a href=\"https:\/\/arriyadiyah.com\/870348\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Al-Riyadiyah<\/a> have shared quotes from <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/alexander-isak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alexander Isak\u2019s<\/a> agent on the potential of a summer transfer, with the representative saying: \u201cWe are already studying and analysing all options, and we may be close to finalising the next step for the player.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The site adds that the agent didn\u2019t clarify any further details, including whether that next step would be a transfer or a stay in Newcastle. (Photo by Stu Forster\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-321190\" title=\"Alexander Isak's agent confirms they're close to his &quot;next step&quot; 3\"\/>Photo by Stu Forster\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Equipe report (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.getfootballnewsfrance.com\/2025\/al-hilal-ramp-up-talks-to-sign-alexander-isak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GFFN<\/a>) that Al-Hilal are ramping up talks to sign Isak, with the club in  the market for a centre-forward after seemingly missing out on <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/victor-osimhen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Victor Osimhen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Saudi club are aware it would take \u20ac130m to sign Isak, but the player has at least opened the door to talks.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool had also been keen on Isak, but <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/victor-osimhen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">David Ornstein<\/a> reports they\u2019ve just agreed a \u00a379m deal for Eintracht Frankfurt striker <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/hugo-ekitike\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hugo Ekitike<\/a>. The problem is that Newcastle have never seemed likely to sell.<\/p>\n<p>Luke Edwards reports for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/football\/2025\/07\/21\/newcastle-nightmare-transfer-window-reasons\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Telegraph<\/a> that Newcastle continue to insist Isak isn\u2019t for sale at any price this summer, though they respect that the speculation has been difficult for the player and he\u2019s been unsettled by it.<\/p>\n<p>Isak\u2019s agent reportedly felt insulted after Newcastle failed to offer Isak a new contract, having promised to do so in 2024.
