Fifteen more Jollibee fast-food restaurants are expected to pop up in the San Antonio as the Philippine fast-service restaurant targets Texas as one of its key growth markets.<\/p>\n

Following the success of a San Antonio location opened in late 2020 and three Dallas-Fort Worth stores, the brand is now hunting for \u201cwhite space\u201d to begin developing more units around the Alamo City, officials told the Current. San Antonio\u2019s only current location is at 5033 NW Loop 410.<\/p>\n

Jollibee representatives didn\u2019t offer a timetable for the San Antonio expansion but said the plans stem from rising brand and growing customer demand for its Asian-influenced takes on American comfort food. <\/p>\n

The chain is known for its flavorful fried chicken along with items such as peach-mango hand pies and ham- and hotdog-topped spaghetti. <\/p>\n

Peter Wright, Jollibee Group North America\u2019s vice president of franchising, told industry news outlet\u00a01851 Franchise<\/a>\u00a0that the company mainstream U.S. diners have discovered the the restaurants, allowing them expanding them beyond the their initial base of Filipino American customers. <\/p>\n

Texas\u2019 big metros also offer the company the right blend of population growth, diverse customers and high-traffic commercial corridors needed to grow a quick-service chain, Wright also told the publication. Over time, the state could support more than 100 locations, he added.<\/p>\n

Jollibee currently operates 1,700 restaurants worldwide, more than 100 of them in the U.S <\/p>\n
