He served as associate editor of Search: International Journal for Researchers of Jewish Genealogy; coeditor of the North America section of the \u201cEncyclopedia of Jewish Genealogy\u201d; and consulting editor of \u201cA Translation Guide to 19th-century Polish-Language Civil-Registration Documents\u201d by Judith R.
