Former Disney Channel<\/a> star Steven Anthony Lawrence made a surprise appearance on Rob Lowe\u2019s game show \u201cThe Floor\u201d this week, more than 20 years after becoming a fan favorite on television. <\/p>\n

The 35-year-old actor, most known for his role as \u201cBeans\u201d on the Shia LaBeouf-led sitcom \u201cEven Stevens,\u201d competed on Wednesday\u2019s episode of the FOX trivia series, where contestants battle for a $250,000 prize.<\/p>\n

Lawrence took on the \u201cRenaissance Faire\u201d category and told host Lowe he felt prepared for the medieval-themed questions because he\u2019s previously played an elf.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve done a bunch of character roles in my life, so I\u2019m feeling very knowledgeable in the category,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Lowe asked the actor what his favorite role had been over the years.<\/p>\n

\u201cFavorite was definitely Beans from \u2018Even Stevens,\u2019\u201d Lawrence replied, drawing loud cheers from the audience.<\/p>\n

Lawrence won the Renaissance-themed round before he lost his matchup in the Global News category later in the program.<\/p>\n

The appearance marked one of Lawrence\u2019s biggest TV moments in years.<\/p>\n

Lawrence played \u201cBeans\u201d on the Shia LaBeouf-led sitcom \u201cEven Stevens.\u201d FilmMagic<\/p>\n

Lawrence became widely known in the early 2000s for playing Bernard \u201cBeans\u201d Aranguren, the Stevens family\u2019s oddball neighbor on \u201cEven Stevens\u201d alongside LaBeouf, Christy Carlson Romano and AJ Trauth.<\/p>\n

Originally introduced as a recurring character, Beans quickly became one of the Disney Channel show\u2019s breakout personalities.<\/p>\n

Lawrence ultimately appeared in 22 episodes and later starred in \u201cThe Even Stevens Movie\u201d before leaving the series in 2003.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old actor battled for the $250,000 prize on \u201cThe Floor\u201d but lost in the Global News category. The Floor\/Youtube<\/p>\n

He also appeared in early 2000s family hits, including Mike Myers\u2019 live-action adaptation of \u201cThe Cat in the Hat\u201d and the 2003 remake of \u201cCheaper by the Dozen\u201d alongside fellow Disney Channel star Hilary Duff.<\/p>\n

While Lawrence has continued acting over the years, one of his last major studio films was the 2005 Will Ferrell comedy \u201cKicking & Screaming.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Lawrence made headlines after he accused Universal Studios Hollywood of firing him in retaliation<\/a> for reporting what he described as a \u201csuspected pedophile.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a January Instagram post, Lawrence shared a photo of his former work ID and name tag next to a Super Mario-themed costume from the park.<\/p>\n

\u201cI delayed posting this for about a month because I was hoping we could find some sort of amicable solution because I absolutely loved performing and dancing with all you amazing people,\u201d Lawrence wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is with a heavy heart I have to announce that my time with Universal Studios has ended,\u201d he continued, alleging he was terminated \u201cto retaliate for reporting a suspected pedophile around children.\u201d<\/p>\n

Universal Studios Hollywood denied the allegations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have investigated and reviewed the concerns brought forward by this former employee and they were found to be inaccurate and without merit,\u201d a spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
