Kickoff\u00a0at\u00a0DICK\u2019S Sporting Goods Park\u00a0is set for\u00a07:30 p.m. MT, with coverage available on Apple TV, Altitude Sports Radio, Tico Sports Spanish Radio,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coloradorapids.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ColoradoRapids.com<\/a>, and the Colorado Rapids app.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Colorado enters Saturday night looking to build the momentum off their midweek victory in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals this past Wednesday.\u00a0After defeating a USL League One and USL Championship side in their first two tournament matchups, the Rapids faced off against\u00a0a fellow MLS side in the San Jose Earthquakes.\u00a0Colorado put on a solid performance all-around, defeating San Jose 2-0 to advance to the tournament Semifinals for the first time since 1999. Darren Yapi and Navarro recorded the goals for the Rapids with Nico Hansen posting his second clean sheet through three U.S. Open Cup appearances.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In MLS play, the Rapids had an up-and-down week last week, both winning and losing a match on the road. Last Wednesday, Colorado secured a crucial three points away from home after defeating Minnesota United FC\u00a01-0 thanks to a goal from Rafael Navarro. The group stayed on the road for their next matchup against Real Salt Lake, where the Rapids came up just short, losing 2-1 in Utah.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dallas has\u00a0seen their\u00a0fair\u00a0share of success lately, having won\u00a0three\u00a0of their last four matches.\u00a0Similar to Colorado, Dallas also defeated the Earthquakes in their most recent match.\u00a0The club came out on top in a\u00a0five-goal\u00a0thriller in San Jose, with Sam Sarver sealing the victory in stoppage time\u00a0to put his side on top 3-2.\u00a0Sarver\u00a0continued\u00a0his\u00a0top form as of late, with the former MLS NEXT Pro MVP scoring his first three career MLS goals\u00a0all\u00a0within his last four appearances.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following Saturday\u2019s match, the MLS schedule will take a\u00a0pause\u00a0for the upcoming FIFA World Cup. The league will resume\u00a0play\u00a0in mid-July to finish the regular season.
