CHICAGO (WLS) — A hit-and-run crash is impacting traffic on Chicago’s South Side on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

Illinois State Police said troopers responded to the crash on the outbound Dan Ryan Expressway just after 3 a.m.<\/p>\n

A pedestrian was struck and taken to a local hospital, ISP said. Their condition was not immediately known.<\/p>\n

The driver fled the scene.<\/p>\n

The 95th Street off ramp from the outbound Interstate 94 remains shut down as police investigate.<\/p>\n

What led up to the crash was not immediately clear.<\/p>\n

Authorities did not immediately provide further information.<\/p>\n
