{"id":81793,"date":"2025-07-21T23:03:15","date_gmt":"2025-07-21T23:03:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/81793\/"},"modified":"2025-07-21T23:03:15","modified_gmt":"2025-07-21T23:03:15","slug":"nyc-tattoo-artist-kidnaps-and-beats-teen-mistress-with-wife-and-nanny-prosecutors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/81793\/","title":{"rendered":"NYC tattoo artist kidnaps and beats teen mistress with wife and nanny: prosecutors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Bronx tattoo parlor owner allegedly kidnapped his teenage mistress and brought her back to his Westchester home, where he, his wife and their babysitter all took turns beating the girl, prosecutors said Monday. <\/p>\n<p>Hartsdale couple Wayne and Jasmine Barnes, and their kids\u2019 babysitter, Lizbeth Cerrato-Sanchez, were all indicted on July 9 in connection with the violent May 16 abduction and assault of the 19-year-old victim who was employed at the tattoo shop, the Westchester County District Attorney\u2019s Office said. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe level of depravity shown by the defendants in this case is astonishing,\u201d District Attorney Susan Cacace said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.47976879;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"36602142\" width=\"873\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/exterior-view-sons-ink-tattoo-108506425.jpg\" alt=\"The alleged incident began at the tattoo parlor. \" class=\"wp-image-36602142\"  \/>The accused kidnapper, Wayne Barnes, owned Sons of Ink tattoo parlor in the Bronx, where the victim was an employee.  @sonsofinkbx\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p>The shocking kidnapping began when Wayne Barnes, the 44-year-old owner of Sons of Ink tattoo parlor, and his teen employee \u2014 with whom he was romantically involved \u2014 got into an argument in his car on his way to dropping her off at her home in Queens, according to the prosecutor. <\/p>\n<p>The tattoo artist allegedly shoved the teen out onto the side of the Grand Central Parkway.<\/p>\n<p>He eventually let her back in the car, but began hitting her with an expandable metal baton, the DA said.<\/p>\n<p>Wayne Barnes then turned around and picked up his 42-year-old wife in the Bronx while he continued to beat on the teen, prosecutors alleged.<\/p>\n<p>The Barneses reached their Hartsdale home and dragged the victim inside to continue their attack, according to the district attorney\u2019s office. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The twisted pair allegedly took the girl\u2019s phone, so she was unable to call for help. <\/p>\n<p>Then, Jasmine Barnes allegedly pushed the teen employee down a flight of stairs while also pulling her hair and hitting her with a metal baton, all while the couple\u2019s children were also home, the DA\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n<p>The 19-year-old nanny, Cerrato-Sanchez, also allegedly slugged the victim in the face while the wife kept striking her with the baton.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was eventually given back her phone and changed into clean clothes before she was allowed to call an Uber and flee, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.56347656;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"36602144\" width=\"332\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/exterior-view-sons-ink-tattoo-108506432.jpg\" alt=\"The suspect and victim both have worked at a Bronx tattoo parlor. \" class=\"wp-image-36602144\"  \/>The 19-year-old victim and Wayne Barners were allegedly romantically involved.  @sonsofinkbx\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p>She went to the hospital for treatment the next day and reported the assault to Greenburgh police. Four days later, the trio of defendants was arrested.<\/p>\n<p>Wayne and Jasmine Barnes were both hit with a mountain of charges, including kidnapping, assault and criminal possession of a weapon, with the wife is also facing a series of charges in the Bronx.
