{"id":8204,"date":"2025-06-23T14:31:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-23T14:31:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/8204\/"},"modified":"2025-06-23T14:31:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-23T14:31:09","slug":"why-san-diego-wants-longer-hours-for-pot-dispensaries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/8204\/","title":{"rendered":"Why San Diego Wants Longer Hours For Pot Dispensaries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cannabis dispensaries in San Diego are getting closer to opening earlier, and staying open later.<\/p>\n<p>A proposal to allow the dispensaries to be open two more hours a day would mean helping them better compete with illegal delivery services and with shops in other nearby cities.<\/p>\n<p>The City Council&#8217;s Economic Development Committee has approved the plan that could also boost revenue for both the dispensaries and the city.<\/p>\n<p>If approved by the full City Council, it would mean pot dispensaries could be open from 6AM to 10PM versus 7AM to 9PM.<\/p>\n<p>Critics say allowing dispensaries to stay open later into the night could lead to a jump in crime nearby.
