A rare full moon<\/a> is set to grace Aussie skies later this week, and it\u2019s something that only happens every two to three years.<\/p>\n

The Blue Moon<\/a> will reach a peak on Sunday, May 31 at 6:30pm AEST, but weather and expected cloud coverage could restrict visibility for millions of people.<\/p>\n

The first full moon, known as the Flower Moon, was seen on May 2, and some cities were shrouded in cloud for that one as well.<\/p>\n

Yahoo Lifestyle has compiled the weather forecast for Aussie capitals so you can work out your chances for the upcoming Blue Moon.<\/p>\n

When is the best time to see the next full moon?<\/p>\n

Those in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra <\/strong>will have the best chance to see the moon at 6:30pm.<\/p>\n

Whereas those in Adelaide and Darwin<\/strong> are encouraged to glance up at the sky at 6pm local time.<\/p>\n

Aussies in Perth <\/strong>should visit an open space earlier at 4:30pm local time for the best viewing opportunity.<\/p>\n
