{"id":82121,"date":"2025-07-22T03:21:14","date_gmt":"2025-07-22T03:21:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/82121\/"},"modified":"2025-07-22T03:21:14","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T03:21:14","slug":"kelly-stafford-comments-on-podcast-co-hosts-absence-due-to-accusation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/82121\/","title":{"rendered":"Kelly Stafford comments on podcast co-host&#8217;s absence due to accusation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kelly Stafford, wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, has co-hosted The Morning After podcast with Detroit TV reporter Hank Winchester since 2023.<\/p>\n<p>However, the longtime Detroit reporter has been absent from regular weekly episodes since early June.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cI know that TMA\u00a0has looked a little differently over the last few weeks,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/kelly-stafford-hints-at-misconduct-claims-against-podcast-cohost\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stafford said<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/the-morning-after-with-kelly-stafford-hank\/id1585848116\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" aria-describedby=\"audioeye_new_window_message\">the Friday, July 18 episode<\/a>. \u201cSummer is a lot for all of us. I\u2019ve been traveling a bunch. Hank is dealing with some personal stuff. Bear with us there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That personal stuff that Hank has been dealing with is an ongoing investigation into an accusation of sexual advances during a massage. A search warrant was executed at Winchester\u2019s residence on June 13, and electronics were seized, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox2detroit.com\/news\/home-wdiv-local-4s-hank-winchester-searched-police\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to Fox 2 Detroit<\/a>. Winchester, known for his consumer investigative reporting with Local 4\u2019s \u201cHelp Me Hank,\u201d had reportedly been studying massage therapy.<\/p>\n<p>WDIV placed Winchester on administrative leave while the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">The reporter has made a few appearances on the podcast since the allegations hit, but has not appeared in his usual co-hosting role since the investigation began. Matthew Stafford has filled in for Winchester as Kelly\u2019s co-host.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHank has spent decades bringing truth to our community and fighting for our citizens,\u201d a statement from Winchester\u2019s attorney, Todd Flood, read. \u201cBecause he holds a high-profile position in our community, that can at times generate false accusations. This investigation will end where it began \u2014 nowhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Winchester and Stafford met during Matthew\u2019s time with the Detroit Lions before he was traded to the Rams in 2021.
