We all know that animals get the zoomies<\/a> sometimes. Just like toddlers who run around and act silly, animals do the same\u2014even extra-large, baby elephants!<\/p>\n

Meet Zigi, the little African pachyderm<\/a> with the biggest attitude and the most bravado of the herd\u2014at least, in his opinion! This playful elephant is absolutely full of energy and sometimes he just can\u2019t stop himself from playing as hard as he can.<\/p>\n

In a recent video shared by the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Zigi is in rare form. Apparently, he had spent some time tormenting his cousin Lenny, and once he had worn out his friend, he moved on to engaging himself with the keepers and the camera!<\/p>\n

The elephant starts out with a little fake charge<\/a> towards the camera. After seeing no reaction from the keeper, Zigi then gives a little zig-zag off to the side and then dramatically drops down onto both front knees just to show he is extra tough!<\/p>\n

Nothing seems to stop this guy! He hops right back up and runs away again. Zigi is quite the character, and of the three baby elephants<\/a> that were born this year, he is the most boisterous one!<\/p>\n

The comment section never disappoints, and here are a few of the highlights from the fans of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust:<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease tell him we were very scared. LOL\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSuch an energetic little guy! Zigi is full of life, and it\u2019s amazing to see the bond between these calves and the Keepers. Great work with the conservation efforts!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI would 100% let my house be destroyed to have those two little guys running around with pure malicious intent and having a blast!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe definitely is upset about something, and he is trying very hard to come up with the reason!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOMG! What a precious tough guy, he’s confident and he even got on his knees to show his strength! I’m melting!\u201d<\/p>\n

Towards the end of the video, Zigi runs into the tall grass, and it almost looks like an accident. He then turns to walk back toward the other herd members<\/a>, and if he could puff his chest out like a rooster he would have! Zigi was immensely proud of his performance and wanted the others to know how great it was!<\/p>\n
