The IDF<\/a> struck more than 70 Hezbollah infrastructure targets in several areas across Lebanon<\/a>, including the Bekaa Valley and Tyre, the military announced in a statement on Monday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Approximately 85 munitions were used in the attacks, said the IDF.<\/p>\n

In the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, the military struck about 10 command centers, weapons storage facilities, and additional infrastructure sites used by the terror group in attacks against Israel.<\/p>\n

The strikes on Tyre<\/a> came following an escalation in Hezbollah drone attacks against IDF troops and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\u2019s subsequent orders to \u201chit the gas\u201d on strikes against the terror group.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Israeli Air Force also eliminated Hezbollah terrorists operating on motorcycles in southern Lebanon where IDF troops were operating, added the military\u2019s statement.<\/p>\n

The Home Front Command<\/a> updated on Monday night its defensive guidelines for communities along the Lebanese border.<\/p>\n

Gatherings and services will be permitted with up to 50 people in an open area and up to 200 people within a structure, instead of the previous limits of 200 and 600, respectively.<\/p>\n

Educational activities will remain the same, according to the IDF’s instructions.<\/p>\n

The northern communities of Meron, Bar Yochai, Or HaGanuz, and Satsufa will remain at a partial activity level, with no change to their guidelines.<\/p>\n

The updated guidelines will be in place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Home Front Command continues to conduct ongoing situational assessment, the military said.
