{"id":821989,"date":"2026-05-25T23:15:17","date_gmt":"2026-05-25T23:15:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/821989\/"},"modified":"2026-05-25T23:15:17","modified_gmt":"2026-05-25T23:15:17","slug":"idf-strikes-hezbollah-infrastructure-targets-as-northern-guidelines-tighten","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/821989\/","title":{"rendered":"IDF strikes Hezbollah infrastructure targets as northern guidelines tighten"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/middle-east\/article-897235\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">IDF<\/a> struck more than 70 Hezbollah infrastructure targets in several areas across <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/politics-and-diplomacy\/article-897287\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lebanon<\/a>, including the Bekaa Valley and Tyre, the military announced in a statement on Monday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Approximately 85 munitions were used in the attacks, said the IDF.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">In the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, the military struck about 10 command centers, weapons storage facilities, and additional infrastructure sites used by the terror group in attacks against Israel.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/defense-news\/article-897274\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">strikes on Tyre<\/a> came following an escalation in Hezbollah drone attacks against IDF troops and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\u2019s subsequent orders to \u201chit the gas\u201d on strikes against the terror group.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">The Israeli Air Force also eliminated Hezbollah terrorists operating on motorcycles in southern Lebanon where IDF troops were operating, added the military\u2019s statement.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/defense-news\/article-897192\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Home Front Command<\/a> updated on Monday night its defensive guidelines for communities along the Lebanese border.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Gatherings and services will be permitted with up to 50 people in an open area and up to 200 people within a structure, instead of the previous limits of 200 and 600, respectively.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Educational activities will remain the same, according to the IDF&#8217;s instructions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">The northern communities of Meron, Bar Yochai, Or HaGanuz, and Satsufa will remain at a partial activity level, with no change to their guidelines.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">The updated guidelines will be in place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">The Home Front Command continues to conduct ongoing situational assessment, the military said.
