The spacious living room has lovely hardwoods, decorative molding, and three west-facing windows. A little nook off to the side introduces an additional exposure and a nice spot for a dining table \u2014 and could be walled off to become a tiny third bedroom. The windowed kitchen is also eat-in. Bedrooms here are quite massive\u00a0\u2014\u00a0both have room enough for a king and at least one closet. Maintenance is $1,350 and gets you laundry in the building, a bike room, additional storage cages, a live-in super, and a playroom. The current owner installed \u201ca horizontally opening wall-bed system that combines a full-size bed with a generous seven foot bench-seat sofa,\u201d if the studio setup is your preference. The enclosed kitchen is petite but also windowed and recently renovated. The bathroom has nicely maintained prewar details and a cast-iron tub. In addition to the pool, the $1,893 maintenance goes toward a gym, a steam room, a sauna, a roof-deck, and a garage. A long entry hall with a closet leads to an open living room with ten-foot ceilings. (There\u2019s some wallpaper that might need dealing with.) Nice plaster details throughout and well-maintained hardwoods. Oversize windows look out onto a leafy view. The bedroom is spacious with the same treetop views; there\u2019s room for a king and additional storage, though you may not need it thanks to the walk-in closet. The bathroom is small but has lovely penny tile. The kitchen is similarly small but nicely appointed: Carrara marble countertops, subway-tile backsplash, and \u201celevated appliances,\u201d which in this case means a Fisher &amp; Paykel drawer dishwasher, De\u2019Longhi range, and LG refrigerator. Maintenance is $1,345 and gets you the basics \u2014\u00a0storage, bike room \u2014\u00a0and a gym. It\u2019s a first-floor apartment, but it\u2019s elevated from the street to allow for more privacy. Also, it\u2019s an ideal layout: To the right of the foyer is a windowed kitchen, though the listing is short on details (and photos). The primary bedroom, which can fit a king, has a lovely corner window with built-in shutters and a \u201cspa-like\u201d en suite bathroom. The second bathroom is just beyond the bedroom and has a tub as well. To the left of the foyer is a nicely sized living room and the second bedroom \u2014\u00a0both have oversize windows with built-in shutters. The apartment comes with a deeded storage cage, and while there\u2019s a shared laundry room, laundry is permitted in the apartment, which is rare for these kinds of prewar apartments.
