Tony Hinchcliffe labeled Chelsea Handler a \u201cc\u2013t\u201d as he hit back at her criticism over his \u201cracist\u201d jokes at Kevin Hart\u2019s Netflix roast earlier this month<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s news articles \u2014 \u2019cause the news isn\u2019t real, nothing is real \u2014 that say that I got lit up by Chelsea Handler, which is very, very funny because that\u2019s not what happened at all,\u201d Hinchcliffe said<\/a> on Monday\u2019s episode of his \u201cKill Tony\u201d podcast. \u201cYou can\u2019t believe anything you see or read on the news anymore. You have to actually watch the thing for yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was a bit of a c\u2013t, I\u2019ll tell you that. She just kept coming at me,\u201d he continued, adding that the writers of Hart\u2019s roast \u201cjust didn\u2019t do her any justice.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe just kept coming at me,\u201d Hinchcliffe said of Handler\u2019s jokes at the \u201cRoast of Kevin Hart\u201d which premiered earlier this month. \u201cWhen Chelsea kept coming at me, I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, I\u2019m gonna f\u2013k this bitch up.’\u201d YouTube\/@killtony<\/p>\n

Hinchcliffe recalled: \u201cFun fact: the teleprompter only went down during my set and it gave me a lot of opportunity to remind Chelsea Handler what she looks like and where her life is because she had it coming.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Chelsea kept coming at me, I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, I\u2019m gonna f\u2013k this bitch up,’\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Hinchcliffe\u2019s comments come shortly after Handler, 51, took aim at both him and roast MC Shane Gillis, calling them \u201cracists\u201d and \u201cbigots\u201d<\/a> during her May 20 appearance on \u201cDeon Cole\u2019s Funny Knowing You\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cI knew enough about Tony and Shane \u2014 they\u2019re racists, they\u2019re bigots, they\u2019re sexist,\u201d the \u201cChelsea Handler Show\u201d star said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t find those jokes funny,\u201d she went on, referencing Gillis\u2019 wise crack about Hart\u2019s height where he joked Hart, 46, was so short \u201cthey\u2019re gonna have to lynch him from a bonsai tree.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLynching black people is not a joke,\u201d Handler insisted. \u201cIt\u2019s worse than rape.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gillis later threw a jab back<\/a> at Handler in response to her comments, telling Page Six through a rep: \u201cThis is a big moment for Chelsea. I am glad she\u2019s capitalizing. Good for her. We\u2019re all rooting for her. Anyway come see me July 17th at the football stadium in Philly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Handler also found issue with Hinchcliffe\u2019s\u00a0joke about the death of Sheryl Underwood\u2019s late husband<\/a> who died by suicide back in 1990, but claimed she \u201cknew\u201d the roast was going to have \u201ca gross vibe.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Underwood was shown on the roast laughing at Hinchecliffe\u2019s jokes, the comedian later reflected on the jabs referencing her late husband, telling Entertainment Tonight they were made \u201cin poor taste.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

But the jokes Underwood felt went too far were Hinchcliffe\u2019s about George Floyd, where he said Floyd was \u201clooking at us all and laughing so hard that he can\u2019t breathe,\u201d and Gillis\u2019 about lynching.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think people should be upset, like the George Floyd jokes, the bonsai tree jokes, things like that.\u201d Underwood said. <\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cI want to get to know what is in your brain that makes you think this is OK?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOur audience that\u2019s watching the roast, if they\u2019re watching the roast, you get why they\u2019re doing it. You get why the racial humor is on the table. I wasn\u2019t shocked,\u201d Hart said. breakfastclubam\/Instagram<\/p>\n

\u201cI told Tony Hinchcliffe personally, \u2018You gotta deal with the Floyd family \u2014 and they got hands,\u2019\u201d she added. \u201cYou\u2019re talking about someone\u2019s relative. And not that the joke wasn\u2019t well written, but would you say that this generation of roasting and comics, they do stuff that most people would think are in poor taste but it still makes you laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hart also threw his two cents in on the matter<\/a>, telling \u201cThe Breakfast Club\u201d Tuesday he found the George Floyd joke was not \u201ctasteful\u201d to \u201cour culture, to our audience.\u201d<\/p>\n
