Democratic socialist Councilwoman Shahana Hanif lashed out against a pair of Muslim organizers of a massive pro-Israel protest at Gracie Mansion on Tuesday night<\/strong>, seething that she prays they go to hell.<\/p>\n

Hanif, best known for her frequent anti-Israel remarks<\/a>, raged in a post on X<\/a> that she hopes the organizers are condemned \u201cto Jahannam\u201d \u2013 the Islamic equivalent of hell.<\/p>\n

The lefty Brooklyn lawmaker reposted two advertisements for the \u201cProtest Zohran Mamdani\u201d demonstration that specifically featured Muslim speakers. The protest, held a block away from Gracie Mansion, was presented by EndJewHatred.<\/p>\n

Anila Ali, the president of the American Muslim & Multifaith Women\u2019s Empowerment Council, was one of the organizers that Hanif slammed in her post.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Earlier Tuesday, Ali told Fox News Digital<\/a> that Mamdani\u2019s \u201cIslamist\u201d supporters had hijacked their religion.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She described herself as a part of a post-9\/11 movement of \u201cmoderate Muslims\u201d who believe that Islam is compatible with life in America.<\/p>\n

Mamdani has stifled interfaith relations, she told the outlet, and \u201cdamaged the image of Islam\u201d since he emerged as a prominent public figure during his run for mayor.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not just that Mamdani criticizes Israel and policy, a lot of Jewish people criticize Israel\u2019s policies,\u201d Ali said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s that he targets the Jewish people and the one Jewish state in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her perfect image of Tuesday\u2019s protest, Ali described, was one of interfaith unity where demonstrators declare that \u201cthis is America.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd no, your Islamism 101 is not going to work, because we are going to stand up as Muslims against you, Mamdani,\u201d she added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd we want America to hear this.\u201d<\/p>\n
