Pride Month<\/a> is in full swing across the Philadelphia suburbs<\/a>, with communities from Delaware and Montgomery Counties to South Jersey hosting parades, picnics, walks, and festivals.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brandywine Pride Picnic<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Brandywine Pride Picnic is set for this Saturday (May 30) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Anson B. Nixon Park. The free, family-friendly celebration will feature lawn games, face painting, zine making, T-shirt relief printing, tables from local LGBTQ organizations, food from El Ranchero, and live music from Frost & Fire (an all-female acoustic duo). Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the performances, as well as old T-shirts to participate in printing activities. Organizers say the picnic will take place rain or shine and volunteers are welcome to help with setup, greeting guests, and breakdown.<\/p>\n

Haddon Township Pride Parade and After Party<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Haddon Township Pride Parade and After Party is back on Thursday, June 4, from 6 to 10 p.m. The parade kicks off at the corner of Crystal Lake and Haddon Avenue at 6 p.m. and travels down Haddon to Strawbridge Avenue, ending at Haddon Square for an after-party featuring live performances, music, food, community groups, and a family-friendly celebration. This year\u2019s theme is \u201cFull Circle,\u201d and admission is free.<\/p>\n

Delaware County Pride Parade<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Delaware County Pride Parade has set its sights on Saturday, June 6 (noon to 1 p.m.) to take over State Street. The parade kicks off DelCo Pride with a one-mile route featuring community groups, performers, advocacy organizations, music, costumes, and rainbow displays through an inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere. As the organizers note, this year, they are continuing to ask community members to switch out the flags for signs as they \u201cembrace the original purpose of pride, solidarity and standing up for our community\u2019s rights.\u201d<\/p>\n

The celebration will then continue on that date from 2 to 9 p.m. along State Street with Delaware County Pride on State. Following the parade, downtown Media will transform into a citywide Pride celebration with events hosted by local businesses and organizations, including a Pride party at State Street Pub, a Kidz Zone at Sterling Pig Brewery, and \u201cDelco\u2019s Got Drag\u201d at Towne House. Most events are free and open to the public, alongside a separate BINGO fundraiser.<\/p>\n

Lansdale Pride Walk & Roll<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 10th Annual Lansdale Pride Walk & Roll is set for Saturday, June 6, (9:30 to 10:30 a.m.) and will bring together LGBTQ+ community members, allies, families, and local organizations to celebrate visibility, inclusion, and pride in Montgomery County. What began as a small solo walk has grown into a large annual gathering promoting connection and belonging, with participants invited to walk or roll through downtown Lansdale before continuing the celebration at Lansdale Day on Main Street.<\/p>\n

Camden PRIDE Celebrations<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Camden Pride Flag Raising, Walk and Celebration will all take place on Thursday, June 11. The fun begins at 2:30 p.m. with a flag raising at the Camden Police Administration Building, followed by a Pride walk through downtown at 3 p.m., ending at Roosevelt Plaza, where celebrations run until 6 p.m. The day includes vendors, wellness and community resources, and an interactive art installation titled \u201cA Hand to Hold.\u201d<\/p>\n

The next day (June 12), Camden Steppin\u2019 Groove: Pride in Motion will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at Roosevelt Plaza. This high-energy line dance session builds on the city\u2019s ongoing \u201cCamden Steppin\u2019 Groove\u201d program, bringing residents together through music, movement, and dance styles inspired by Baltimore, D.C., and Southern traditions.<\/p>\n

5th Annual Collingswood Pride at Second Saturday<\/strong><\/p>\n

This annual event is back on Saturday, June 13, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Collingswood Pocket Park. The celebration brings live music, drag performances, local vendors, and community activities to the heart of Collingswood\u2019s business district through an inclusive, family-friendly setting. Delaware County Pride Festival<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Delaware County Pride Festival is set for Saturday, June 13 (1 to 6 p.m.) at the Upper Darby Township Municipal Building. Billed as the largest annual Pride celebration in Delaware County, the festival brings together more than 130 vendors alongside live entertainment, including drag performances, DJs, music, ballroom, and dance. The all-ages event also features food vendors, cultural cuisine, and family-friendly activities like face painting and interactive games.<\/p>\n
